Following the government directive made by the President of the Republic of Kenya on Sunday 15th March 2020, the Branch has continued to observe the situation and consider appropriate adjustments to operations and activities. The Branch also endeavors to communicate any changes to the members in time and accordingly.
A key agenda we had planned was to host the 36th Annual General Meeting on 28th April 2020.
After careful consideration, and in light of the further directives made by the government yesterday, the Branch Committee has resolved to postpone the AGM to a later date to be communicated to members. This decision has already been communicated to London.
As earlier communicated, 7th April 2020 marked the deadline for receiving nominations for those seeking elective positions in the Branch Committee. Since the AGM has been postponed, the window for accepting nominations shall remain open and nominations will be received until at least 21 days before the new date for the AGM.
Once the new date is confirmed, members interested to serve in the Branch Committee must submit their nomination and candidate profile forms within the period stated in the fresh notice. Those members who have already submitted their forms, need not reapply.
Thank you for the continued support of your Branch and please stay safe.
