Why become a Member?


This Advanced Certificate qualification is ideal if you have some experience of ADR. It is an internationally recognised qualification that will enhance your own personal and professional development.

Becoming a Member is a step through our world-renowned training programme to become a CIArb Fellow.


What qualifications and experience are needed?


To qualify to become a Member you will need to either:


  • Become an Associate and pass Modules 1 and 2 of CIArb's training programme; or
  • Pass CIArb's Accelerated Route to Membership programme (Arbitration only); or
  • Complete a recognised equivalent course; or
  • Demonstrate the level of experience in the relevant field as required by CIArb.

If you are not an Associate but are legally qualified and have some experience of Arbitration, CIArb offers an Accelerated Route to Membership course


How much does it cost?


The application fee is Kshs. 20,000


*Kshs. 10,000 - Subscription fee

*Kshs. 10,000 - One off development levy
