Why become a Chartered Arbitrator?

 

As a Chartered Arbitrator you will have demonstrated your knowledge, skills, attitude and experience of arbitration and its practical application.

 

A chartered arbitrator is a Fellow of the CIArb who has demonstrated to an interview panel advanced knowledge and understanding of arbitration and its practical application, evidencing a professional approach to parties and the public interest.

 

What qualifications and experience are needed?

 

To qualify to become Chartered Arbitrator you will need to:

 

  • be a Fellow of CIArb through the arbitration route; and
  • pass a Chartered Arbitrator interview with a panel of three approved interviewers.

 

How much does it cost?

 

The application fee is Kshs. 22,500

 

*Kshs. 12,500 - Subscription fee

*Kshs. 10,000 - One off development levy
